Lamin Darboe Of Leicester Takes issue with Sam Sarr

Lamin Darboe of Leicester Taskes Issue With Lt. Col. Sarr

I will not hesitate to point out the childish and backward mentality manifested in the article of our untill now respected writer Sam Sarr. Believe me, he is no interllectual of the calibre many aforetime assumed him to be. He is full of himself and could pass as a wise and smart guy but inherently otherwise. Because a wise and matured person of his experience and record should not waste his time writing all these frivolities, thick arguments;  flawed and inconsistent rationalisations.

What benefit does our beloved Nation The Gambia and Gambians at this juncture gain from revisiting our tribal past other than fanning the flames of tribal discord. Could readers help me to decipher  the rational behind Mr Sarr's scheming diatribe, is it frustration, boredom, anguish or a masqueraded attempt to reincarnate himself. I think The Gambia president by now know the real Mr samsideen sarr; I don't think any  reincarnation will restore the privelleges and trust he once had with the ruling regime. Gambians will not allow anyone to further polarise and perpectuate tribal disharmony in our beloved country. Gambians are very intelligent and matured people on matters like this and cannot be hoodwinked by people with ulterior predisposition. A predisposition of self aggrandisement and egoistically adventurous.
We have seen in the years past people who fell out with Jammeh bowing down to beg for forgiveness and readmission; so it is not new. It seem all this fracas and childish hullabaloo about tribal dichonomy was aim at tacitly remarketing himself to the regime for acceptance, as a result of frustration of  living in assylum; seperation and also reaching a dead end in USA.
Sam dismiss every intelligent counter perspective on his incendiary and divissive article (genesis of tribal politics) as exudation of indignation, euphoria and illogical posits. An allegation best pretentious and possibly disingenuous. It is time to call spade a spade and no amount of reverence should insulate person cut from whatever politics from scrutiny and admonition. You can call it rage, vindictiveness or irrational outburst I don't care, you are manifestedly in the wrong and that's it. No  amount of tempered admonition or level of diplomacy can hide the poignance of your error in this indiscriminate smearing of a people.

Citation of your relatives married or living in mandinka societies to me has no bearing on your own dispenasation. Your article seem to reflect your inner feelings and we can inference your real sentiments towards mandinka tribe. You can run but you can't hide.
We had all wanted to eschew any further treatise on this matter but your recalcitrance, arrogance and disdain for other people's perspective on this flammable matter is unparallelly abominable. It is true we have to forgive and show benevolence to each other, but not in matters which could  imperil  our progress and ultimately national peace. As other writers point out, this issue is  clouding out a needed debate on matters of national significance to our nation today.

Angry. am not, I want call spade a spade.
Thanks.

Remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a long time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall-- think of it, ALWAYS” ~ Mahatma Gandhi.
