Ambassador designate Ngorr Secka in sunglasses during an NIA surveillance in the aftermath of journalist Deyda Hydara's murder. Secka is 4th. from left in blue suit.
Unimpeachable sources close to the Foreign Affairs Ministry say that Ngorr Secka is The Gambia’s new Ambassador to the Republic of Guinea- Conakry. Reveals our source, “I had a question mark against it because the Ambassador to Sierra Leone covers Guinea-Conakry but with Jammeh anything goes. I am sure Ngorr is being bribed for what he knows as NIA operative, including the 55 immigrants mostly Ghanaians murdered by Jammeh and his henchmen. Based on past experience, the alignment of Ministerial and Ambassadorial positions will be re-aligned shortly; perhaps he has already made further changes as we speak.”
It can be recalled that Ngorr Secka was an NIA operative who rose to the ranks and was arrested in the wake of the failed coup of March 2006. Agent Secka was detained incommunicado alongside his colleagues; triplets of evil and mayhem Foday Barry, Baba Saho and Abdoulie Kujabie at the Mile Two Prisons (Africa’s hell on earth) for up to a year. His arrest, reveal our competent sources at the External Divisional of the notorious National Intelligence Agency, was precipitated by his refusal to endorse the execution of his erstwhile torture Chief the late Daba Marenah and four other security detainees. Ngorr Secka was an eyewitness to the arrest and subsequent execution of the 55 West Africans among them, at least two Guineans. How can a man who has knowledge of such extra-judicial executions of Guineans be appointed as Ambassador to that country? Our source asks. According to our sources, Ngorr Secka and Daba Marenah were very close and there is nothing that the late brutal NIA Chief did that Ngorr was not privy to. During his long detention at the Mile II Prisons, a place where he and Marenah had sent several innocent souls out of malice and viciousness, Secka reportedly confessed a lot of scary tales. All rights reserved, including the right to reproduce this article or any other article or image, or portions thereof, in any form or context without the expressed permission of The Gambia Echo Newspaper.
