The Gambia Echo Newspaper, LLC Press Release

The Gambia Echo- Milestones

We at The Gambia Echo Newspaper, LLC are please to announce to our readership of our recent recognition by the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) of the United States Department of Commence to include us on its list of news sources across the globe. Below we reproduce in pertinent part the invitation extended to us in a letter dated August 25, 2008 to which we have positively responded and work has since began in earnest. We are therefore, humbled by this encouraging development bearing in mind our numerous tribulations for an on-line paper that began barely two years ago. In the past two days, we have been approached by some prominent businesses and NGOs and we hope that they too, will jump abroad. Below we reproduce in pertinent part, the letter sent to us by The NT I S’s Director from Springfield, Virginia.

Dr Fox says...

Extreme justice is an extreme injury: for we ought not to approve of those terrible laws that make the smallest offences capital, nor of that opinion of the Stoics that makes all crimes equal; as if there were no difference to be made between the killing (of) a man and the taking (of) his purse, between which, if we examine things impartially, there is no likeness nor proportion .~ Sir Thomas More in Utopia, Bk 1. (1516)
