US Ambassador designate, Bajo, replaces Fisheries Minister, Saho

The Gambia Echo has now confirmed beyond a shadow of doubt that the high profile sacking of four ministers this morning is factual and has just learned that, US Ambassador designate, Lamin Kaba Bajo is new Fisheries Minister.

In a related twist, we have been told by highly placed state house sources that Mr. Gibril Joof, Gambian Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal is now US Ambassador designate. We are monitoring the developments and will surely keep you posted.

According to our competent sources, it is not even clear if Ministers Saho and Ismaila Sambou are in The Gambia because as late as last night, the duo with Imam Cherno Kah, were seen on Senegalses TV purportedly representing the Gambia leader for the annual pilgrimage to the grand Magal at Touba.
