Sergeant Lisa Fatty of GFS Dies

The Beyai ,  Fatty  and Ceesay family of Fulladu Tabanani, The Fatty, Kassama  and Bayo family of Fulladu Faraba CRR., regret to announce the sudden death of their loving and caring wife, mother, daughter and sister; Mrs. Lisa Fatty Beyai. She passed away early Thursday morning February 18, at the RVTH Banjul.

Lisa Fatty Beyai 34, of Kombo Wellengra passed away peacefully on February 18, 2010 at the Royal Victoria Hospital where she was admitted briefly. She died surrounded by her loving husband, Father, Mother, and Uncles and loving family and friends. She was laid to rest at 5pm the same day.

Lisa was the wife of Kakou Beyai, whom she married in 1995. She was the daughter of Demba and Marang Fatty of Fulladu Faraba CRR.

Lisa graduated from Armitage High School, Georgetown in 1994. Right after her graduation she joined The Gambia Fire Service and up until her untimely death she was a Sergeant in the Gambia Fire Service posted at Banjul branch. 

Lisa was described by friends and family as full of life, love, caring and compassion. She was fun to be around and cared deeply about her family and friends. Classmates at Armitage received Lisa’s passing with shock and disbelief. Many are paying their last respects and tributes to Lisa through their Face Book social networking accounts.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters and a son.  Lisa would surely be missed by all who knew her.

We ask you all to keep her in your prayers. Our prayers will always be with you, Sister.RIP. May your soul rest in peace LISA- Amen!
