This decision was arrived at after an agonizing debate over the merits of continuing to fan the flames of discord. The Echo suggests that the protagonists in what is turning out to be a vicious saga, contact each other privately by email to hash out their disagreements. We apologize to our readership for any inconvenience caused by this painful decision. At a moment when the entire government of The Gambia has gone on a two week hiatus and immoral debauchery in Kanilai, to celebrate the birthday of Yahya Jammeh, we have bigger and far more serious challenges to contend with.
