US-Based Gambian Newspaper Launches Internet Radio- Senegambia

Senegambia News launches radio

Press Release | November 12, 2010

Senegambia News is pleased to inform the general public of the launch of its online radio, http://www.senegambianews.com/radionews.cfm.

We intend to utilise this additional technological advantage to translate newspaper reports on The Gambia and Senegal into local languages in order to reach a wider audience, and to better educate our citizens on the importance of democracy and the ills of dictatorship.

The medium would also be used to conduct interviews and healthy debates on the future of The Gambia and how to end the terror regime of Yahya Jammeh that's on a terrible path to abolish democratic elections in the country.

Listeners would be able to call in during live debates and talk shows (not in news slots).

Thanks,

Senegambia News, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
