US letter writer wants Jammeh’s madams exposed

As a concerned citizen of The Gambia living in the United States, I love reading The Echo to know what is happening in our beloved country. Thanks to you Mr. Sankareh. Since you published the death of Ello Jallow, I keep wondering why President Jammeh punished/sentenced Ello to death for having an alleged sexual affair with his wife, the First Lady, Zeinab Jammeh without proof but laughable ramous and lies. How about him-President Jammeh who is reportedly sleeping with prostitutes, married, and unmarried women in The Gambia yet no one sentences him to death?

Mr. Editor, I can’t wait for you to reveal the names of the women he slept with and those he continues to sleep with including my uncle’s wife whom people suspect to be sleeping with him. In the end, my poor uncle had to flee The Gambia for fear of his life and I don’t think it’s fair for Gambians not to know the people Jammeh sexually harasses and sleeps with. I remember when Jammeh seized power, his famous slogans were: transparency, accountability and probity. What has happened to all those fanciful words from the angry lieutenant now Professor?

It may therefore, be of interest to you, that ever since the publication of Sgt. Ello Jallow’s chilling finality, we continue to be bombarded with names of women allegedly involved in sexual relationship with President Jammeh. Curiously though, majority of these women are married and in high positions among them Cabinet ministers—past and present, Directors, Permanent Secretaries, lawyers, diplomats, journalists, female officers, NIA operatives, Customs officers and clerical staff within various Departments. Given the demonstrated interest in this matter, we are discussing with our lawyers how to proceed with this sensitive information particularly considering the impact on the children.

Meanwhile, our most trusted operative, Kissy Kissy Mansa is sorting our a new list containing the names of 123 women who have at various times served under Jammeh and allegedly slept with him in Kanilai and diverse places in The Gambia. One Cabinet Minister allegedly had an affair in the presidential caravan at Kanilai. Also, there is a business woman whose name features on all the lists provided thus far. To say the least, some of the allegations are devastating.
