Attempts At Extradition

The memo goes on to map out strategies to convince Senegal for Sana’s extradition thus: “another option is to heavily frame him to the Senegalese Government, by linking him with the dissident Kukoi Samba Sanyang and allege that the two are highly engaged in trying to topple the Jammeh regime; in that his extradition could be sought with the Senegalese Government. If that were established, the Senegalese authorities would surely be with us to see his extradition back to The Gambia. I recommend that so many ‘Study missions’ be taken to Dakar purposely to closely monitor on S.B.Sabally right up to the time he will be tracked down. No chance should be given him for total freedom while he still stays in Dakar. The bottom line is that ‘The Jammeh regime is not the least safe with S.B.Sabally outside of The Gambia and alive, going about his own activities.

It should be borne in mind that since S.B.Sabally set foot outside the Mile II Prisons he has said nothing if at all anything, he has said very little and has taken to total silence and we don’t know what he is keeping deep inside-eerie silence. If our ‘search teams’ go to Dakar often and or stay with him in Dakar and he somehow is able to pick the move that would take the initiative out from him and make him very confuse and restless in Dakar. With all the missions ever sent to Dakar to look for S.B.Sabally, returned with little or no concrete information to say “We saw him physically at such and such a location- never. Does that mean that we’re always compromised even before we left for Dakar? We need to change our tactics in Dakar so as to quickly eliminate S.B.Sabally before he could have the time and chance to turn unto us.
