Singhateh Sacked And Expelled From Ruling Party, Under Guard

By Ebrima  G. Sankareh, Editor-in- Chief

Ever since we broke news of Singhateh's political demise, numerous readers have called to verify if at all our State House operative Kissy Kissy Mansa had not deliberately misled us to tarnish our credibility. We have assured all our readers that there was a fundamental difference between journalists and join-the-lists; that we cannot be so myopic as to write such a story out of malice. Well barely 24 hours later, Gambian state media, GRTS has confirmed our story and added that Singhateh the Butcher of Banjul has also been expelled from the ruling APRC Party. Dr Fox says...

Extreme justice is an extreme injury: for we ought not to approve of those terrible laws that make the smallest offences capital, nor of that opinion of the Stoics that makes all crimes equal; as if there were no difference to be made between the killing (of) a man and the taking (of) his purse, between which, if we examine things impartially, there is no likeness nor proportion .~ Sir Thomas More in Utopia, Bk 1. (1516)
