Breaking News: Jahumpa & Faye Slightly Bounce Back?

Our most competent State House operative has just informed us that the Banjul Mafia have been at State House begging Jammeh to reconsider the fates of Bala Garba Jahumpa and Sheikh Omar Faye. According to Kissy, Omar Faye may likely go to Mauritania and Bala to Nigeria as Ambassadors respectively. This warns Kissy, is not definitive because Jammeh has asked the Banjul elders if they would tolerate the behaviours of both former ministers in their own backyards. "I have never since Kebba so angry" said Kissy. We will keep you posted on any major developments.

Dr Fox says...

Extreme justice is an extreme injury: for we ought not to approve of those terrible laws that make the smallest offences capital, nor of that opinion of the Stoics that makes all crimes equal; as if there were no difference to be made between the killing (of) a man and the taking (of) his purse, between which, if we examine things impartially, there is no likeness nor proportion .~ Sir Thomas More in Utopia, Bk 1. (1516)
