Corrigendum

The rebel assassinated is Ismaila Magne Dieme and NOT Kamouge Diatta as earlier announced.  Ismaila Magne Dieme who heads the MFDC rebel group in the Southern Front was accused by Yahya Jammeh of harboring Col. Ndure Cham after the failed coupe d'etat in 2006.  The circumstances surrounding the assassination of Ismaila Magne Dieme is unclear. Be rest assured that we will follow developments as they unfold especially as they impact on the relations between Senegal and Gambia.
