Breaking News: Lt. Kawsu Camara (bombarde`) Fights   For His Life

By Ebrima G. Sankareh, Editor-in-Chief

Unimpeachable military sources say Lieutenant Kawsu Camara (a.k.a Bombarde) a man who has dubiously distinguished himself as President Yahya Jammeh's Chief serial killer, is also fighting for his life. Thanks to his clownish shows of bravado and callousness, President Jammeh nicked named him Bombarde (the one who bombs his victims) and has probably killed more Gambians and non-Gambians in a scale that only rivals the disgraced former Vice Chairman, Defense Minister and later Forestry Secretary, Edward David Singhateh.

According to our most competent military sources, the serial killer Bombarde who is alleged to have pulled the trigger on journalist Deyda Hydara; seems to be in his deathbed and currently receiving local treatment at an undisclosed location. Just like before the deaths of his comrades Captain Tumbul Tamba (a.k.a Pol Pot) and Musa Jammeh (a.k.a Maliya Mungu), Camara is reportedly unveiling all the crimes he committed, the main reason why he is not taken to a hospital. Instead, Mighty Bombarde` whose ferocity during the liquidation of the West African immigrants mostly Ghanaians, defies physics, is with a traditional healer to avoid the damning revelations leaking to the public. “Kawsu is like a mad parrot; he is revealing everything from the day he started killing” says a highly placed military source. According to our source, Bombarde like both Tumbul Tamba and Musa Jammeh is badly emaciated and his lips are extremely dry. Our sources speculate that most of the soldiers think that President Jammeh has a hand in this mysterious ailment that is set to wreak havoc on his most trusted serial killers.Asked what is the general feeling among the ranks, our sources say, "like that of Tamba and Jammeh, Bombarde's illness is cause for great jubilation; we want an immediate stop to these killer machines, so we pray to Allah five times to hasten their exit from the corridors of power."

According to our sources, Bombarde is blaming President Jammeh’s former Italian Security Adviser a Francisco Casso, for indoctrinating him, the late Captain Tamba and Major Musa Jammeh into committing wholesale atrocities in various localities in the country. Casso who has since been kicked out of The Gambia, is reported to have taken a handful of the presidential guards on numerous mock-assassination missions killing at least 10 innocent Gambians just to prepare his trainees on President Jammeh’s undaunted feat of genocide. Says our most competent sources, Casso once killed a farmer in Yundum and told his trainees “the bastard has fallen.” The unidentified man was thrown behind the military vehicle and buried at Yundum Barracks our source revealed. Also in 2000, Casso without any provocation whatsoever shot a Jola man returning from oyster hauling in the mangroves by Denton Bridge and told Musa Jammeh “I’ve killed a big Gambian dog.” They took the corpse and buried that man by Sting Corner enroute to Bakau. The current Interior Minister Ousman Sonko knows exactly where the man was buried our sources alleged.

Whether or not Bombarde too is fighting for his life is just a matter of time. What is crystal clear is that the desperadoes are coming out of their shadows and gradually, all that was done under the cover of darkness will surface and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Dr Fox says...

Extreme justice is an extreme injury: for we ought not to approve of those terrible laws that make the smallest offences capital, nor of that opinion of the Stoics that makes all crimes equal; as if there were no difference to be made between the killing (of) a man and the taking (of) his purse, between which, if we examine things impartially, there is no likeness nor proportion .~ Sir Thomas More in Utopia, Bk 1. (1516)
