Letter writer Praises Col. Sarr, Condemns Jammeh & Singhateh

  Hello Mr. Editor:

I just want to thank The Gambia’s former Army Commander Lieutenant Colonel Samsudeen Sarr for the piece he wrote about Musa Jammeh (The Death of An Evil Brute, -Musa Jammeh, The Gambia Echo, Sunday November 25, 2007). As a Gambian citizen who lives in USA for the past sixteen years, I find it hard to believe that a Gambian is capable of the worst kind of brutality that I am reading on your paper and the online papers. Yaya Jammeh and his gang of bandits are terrorizing one of the most peace loving human beings on the face of the earth and one by one they are all now facing the real President (The Almighty) in the next world before they will be led the doors of hell while their victims are laughing. I wished ALLAH could spare them for the day that they will be hand cuffed by their fellow Gambians and drag to the courts of law to testify against one of the most evil man on the face of this earth YAYA JAMMEH. I am also wondering why Gambians did not take the law into their own hands and execute EDWARD SINGHATEH the criminal regime’s former drunk and serial killer. As I read Lt. Colonel Sarr’s book: Coup D’etat By The Gambia National Army I could not believe the degree of suffering some of those fine men suffered in the hands of Edward Singhateh. Be that as it is, I want to thank The Gambian Echo and the other online

Newspapers for the outstanding job you guys are doing and you need to keep on supplying Gambians and the world this kind of information so the world will know what kind of government we have in The Gambia. May I also seize this opportunity to thank Lt. Colonel Samsudeen Sarr for his book and please we need you to be writing more. I am one of your biggest fans since I read your previous book MEET ME IN CONAKRY, and its very sad that intellectuals like you and so many others are on the run for your lives instead of helping run the country for the good of the Gambia’s future. Thank you Mr. Editor, a concerned Gambian citizen in USA.
