NIA Officer Reacts to West African Massacre Story

Mr. Sankareh: Thank you very much for your noble crusade and endeavor to expose injustice. You are definitely a trailblazer in Gambian online journalism. Reading through your authoritative paper this morning, which has been a routine for me ever since it was launched, I saw some interesting piece on the alleged massacre of 50 West African nationals mostly Ghanaians by our security forces. Your whistle blower has done a tremendous job by exposing those callous cowards who will kill for anything. However, he has missed out on the origins of some of them, which I intend to clarify and also to add some spice to it. You see, Mr. Sankareh, I am not surprised at all at the implication of some of them because they were buffoons and moronic since our childhood days. Those are the types even at their primary school days you could bet would end up like stooges and buffoons. In the case of Solo Bojang whom your source claimed to be from Kanilai, I think it was a mistake. He is from Brikama Bojang Kunda and is commonly known as Solo Kuku. He is the perfect example of a nonentity. During his primary and secondary school days, he was only good at one thing, play the fool. I mean play in all its forms except for extra-curricular activities like sports for that required the use of one's brilliance. He also joined the Boys Scouts and tarnished their image with his impulsive behaviors. It is believed that he enlisted in The Gambia National Army under a different name for he had a series of F's in his Secondary School Certificate. He even failed the generally simple Art and Craft. He is attached to the State Guards where his job is to blow the military flute to remind troops of time to change and begin guard posts. N’fally Jabang is from Darsilami village in Kombo Central. He was an average student from Brikama Secondary and he joined the TSG upon completion in 1988.His involvement in the massacres could be attributed to his desire for promotion. For Adama Saidy, he is from Brikama Sanchaba, another school leaver with the famous Free Flight From France tag in his school credentials. THE GUY FAILED ALL HIS SUBJECTS! He is from a very devoutly religious family. A Couple of his elder brothers live in Germany. He was famous for hunting rabbits and squirrels on the outskirts of Brikama. He has been an empty barrel all his life and is capable of doing more than what he has been accused of. He has no sense of reasoning and can commit any crime especially, when his impulsive instincts are at play. With all due respect to The Gambia Boys Scouts Association, like Solo he was also a member. For them, scouting was about being away from normal school/class work, imitating police/service(s) work and so on. They could never tell you what Boys Scouts motto was. Their alleged involvement in these crimes is not surprising at all. Thank you and have a good day.
